Zoom alternative
A free Zoom alternative built around the agenda.
Zoom is built for any call at any size. Agendiq is built for the team meeting: a countdown for every item, a call that changes with it, votes from phones, and no hard stop at 40 minutes on the free plan.

Switch or stay
When to switch from Zoom, and when not to.
Zoom is reliable at almost any size: 100 people on the free plan and 300 on Business, desktop and mobile apps, breakout rooms, webinars, cloud recording on paid plans, and an AI Companion that writes meeting summaries.
Switch to Agendiq if…
- Your free calls get cut off at 40 minutes. Agendiq warns everyone first and keeps the audio on for a wrap-up.
- Your meetings overrun because nobody can see how long each item has left.
- You want check-ins, votes and ideas from phones without another app.
- You'd rather not record calls just to keep track of decisions.
Stay with Zoom if…
- You run webinars or calls with more than 50 people.
- You need cloud recordings or AI notes written from the call itself.
- You use breakout rooms.
- Most of your calls are ad hoc, with no agenda to run.

The real difference
A call that keeps time for you.
In most video calls the hour looks the same from the first minute to the last: a grid of faces and whoever is sharing. In Agendiq each agenda item sets the call up for what it needs, and its countdown is on everyone's screen, so the meeting moves on without anyone playing timekeeper.
- 1Every item is timedThe current item's countdown is on everyone's screen, so nobody has to watch the clock.
- 2The call fits the momentSpotlight for updates, everyone on screen for discussion, cameras paused for breaks.
- 3No sudden cut-offOn Free, everyone is warned 5 and 1 minutes before the video limit, then the call carries on in audio for a 10-minute wrap-up.
- 4Decisions before goodbyeDecisions and actions are captured as they're said and land in the summary everyone gets.

Zoom alternative questions
What is the best free Zoom alternative?
It depends on the call. For plain group calls, Google Meet's free plan runs 60 minutes and Microsoft Teams (free) 60, against Zoom Basic's 40. For team meetings with an agenda, Agendiq Free gives 45 minutes of video with 6 people on camera, then a 10-minute audio wrap-up, plus up to 50 people voting from their phones.
Is there a Zoom alternative with no time limit?
On paid plans, yes: Agendiq Pro has no per-call limit for $15 a month billed yearly ($19 monthly). On free plans, Google Meet doesn't limit one-to-one calls; group calls on every free plan we checked have a limit.
How much does Zoom cost?
Checked on 2026-10-04: Zoom Basic is free, with meetings up to 40 minutes and 100 people. Pro is $16.99 a month, or $14.16 billed yearly, with meetings up to 30 hours. Business is $21.99 a month, or $18.33 billed yearly, for up to 300 people.
Do guests need to download anything to join Agendiq?
No. Guests open the link or scan the code and join in the browser, on a laptop or a phone. Only the person who runs the meeting signs up.
Does Agendiq record calls like Zoom?
No. Calls are live only and nothing is recorded. If you need recordings, keep Zoom for those meetings.
Can I use Agendiq with Zoom?
Yes. Leave Agendiq's call off, share the Agendiq screen in Zoom, and people still answer from their phones. Many teams switch to the built-in call for recurring meetings, because it follows the agenda.
