How to run it

  1. 1Use one round as a five-minute meeting opener, or all three for a team social.
  2. 2Everyone answers on their phone. For team play, put people in groups of three or four with one phone each.
  3. 3Reveal each answer and read the note. The stories behind the answers are half the fun.
  4. 4Keep score by hand if you want a winner: one point per correct answer.

What are good trivia questions for coworkers?
Questions about things everyone at work touches, like email, sticky notes and acronyms, plus the origin stories of companies people know. They're easy to guess at and fun to learn.
How do you run team trivia at work?
Split into teams of three or four with one phone each, play one round per meeting or all three at a social, and reveal each answer before the next question.
How long should office trivia take?
Five to ten minutes for one round as a meeting opener, about 25 minutes for all three.
