How to run it

  1. 1Split into teams of three to five. Each team answers on one phone, so people talk before they vote.
  2. 2Read each question aloud, give 20 seconds, then reveal the answer and read the explanation from the notes.
  3. 3Keep a tally on a whiteboard and announce the leaders at each round break.
  4. 4For safety week, run one round a day instead of all three at once.

Questions people ask

What are good safety quiz questions?
Questions people need in real life: what PASS stands for, which fire class covers cooking oil, how far a ladder's base goes out, and how long to flush an eye. Explaining the answer matters more than the score.
What are good safety games for work?
Team quizzes, spot-the-hazard walks and safety bingo during safety week. A quiz on phones works well because everyone answers, not just the confident few.
Can I run this as safety jeopardy?
Yes. Treat each round as a category, let teams pick the next question, and score harder rounds higher on your whiteboard.
