How to run it

  1. 1Book the same people for five full days, recruit five customers for Friday before Monday, and name the Decider.
  2. 2Present the week deck first so everyone knows where Monday leads.
  3. 3During the expert interviews, everyone writes How Might We notes on their phone, silently, one idea per note.
  4. 4Group and dot-vote the notes on the board, then let the Decider pick the target.
  5. 5Send the follow-up with the goal, sprint questions and target, and the plan for Tuesday to Friday.

Who should be in a design sprint?
Seven or fewer people, including a Decider and a Facilitator, with a mix of design, engineering, product, marketing and customer-facing roles. Experts join on Monday afternoon.
