  4. 4Agree and record a recommendation for every case before the meeting ends.
  5. 5Track quorum: NHS England's rule is a quorum on at least 95% of meetings.

NHS sources say meetings can last several hours. This template uses two hours with a break.
What is MDT streamlining?
NHS England guidance has cases triaged before the meeting so standard-of-care cases are only listed for oversight and complex cases get full discussion. In one NHS pilot, triage freed about 10 minutes per weekly meeting.
Why do MDT discussions feel rushed?
Cancer Research UK found about half of patients were discussed for 2 minutes or less, with only about 3 members contributing. Triage aims to give complex cases more time.
