Title

In short

A Family Feud template lets you run the survey-says game, where teams guess the most popular answers to a question. In this version the room is the survey: teams make three guesses, then everyone answers on their phone and the word cloud reveals the top answers. It has eight work-friendly rounds and simple scoring.

How to run it

  1. 1Split the room into two teams and pick a captain for each. Draw a score table on paper or a whiteboard.
  2. 2Show the survey question slide. Each team gets 30 seconds to agree three guesses for the top answers, and you write them down.
  3. 3Move to the next slide: everyone, both teams included, answers on their phone with the first word that comes to mind. Biggest words are the top answers.
  4. 4Score 3 points for guessing the top answer, 2 for another answer in the top three, and 1 for any other answer on the board. Most points after eight rounds wins.

Questions people ask

What are good Family Feud questions for work or school?
Everyday prompts with lots of possible answers: something you bring to a meeting, a reason someone is late, something you pack for a vacation. Avoid anything personal or embarrassing.
How does this compare with a Family Feud PowerPoint or Google Slides template?
Slide templates need you to invent the survey answers in advance. Here the room answers live, so the board is always real and there's nothing to prepare.
How do you score a Family Feud-style game?
In this version: 3 points for guessing the top answer, 2 for another answer in the top three and 1 for any answer that appears. Double the points in the final round.
