How to run it

  1. 1Update the events, the food drive goal and the kids' check-in details each week. Everything else can stay.
  2. 2Click through the slides before the service starts, or show them during the welcome time.
  3. 3The connect card asks how people want to get involved without asking for personal details on screen. Point new guests to the welcome desk to share contact details there.
  4. 4After the service, check the connect card results and follow up with the small group and serving teams.

Questions people ask

What should be on a church welcome slide?
A warm welcome, the service time, where to find coffee and the kids' check-in, and one simple next step for guests, such as visiting the welcome desk.
How many church announcements should you show?
Four or five at most each week. Put the rest in the bulletin or newsletter so the slides stay easy to read.
What is a digital connect card?
A short question people answer on their phones to say how they'd like to connect, such as joining a group or serving. It replaces paper cards and makes follow-up easier.
