Meet the team slides

How to run it

1. 1Collect each person's role, what to ask them about and one surprising fact a week before. Replace the sample names and facts.
2. 2Use it at an all-hands, with a new client, or when a new team forms. The fun-facts round works best with 4 to 8 people on the slides.
3. 3Run each 'who said it' slide as a poll, reveal the answer from the speaker notes, and let that person tell the story in 30 seconds.
4. 4Finish with the open question so the audience can ask the team anything.

What should be on a meet the team slide?

Each person's name, role and what to ask them about. A fun fact or a photo helps people remember names.

How do you introduce a team in a presentation?

Keep each person to one line, group people by what they look after, and add a quick game, such as guessing whose fun fact is whose, so the audience engages instead of reading a list.

Can I use this for a meet the staff page or event?

Yes. Schools, clinics and offices use the same slides for meet the staff evenings: swap the roles for your staff and play the fun-facts round with parents or clients.
