Why it works

Built so the sales forecast call ends on time, with everyone in it.

  • Updates stay short

15 minutes of updates with a visible clock. In a video call the speaker is spotlighted and the room is muted, so nobody talks over them.

  • Discussion with a clock

20 minutes of open floor with a countdown everyone can see, and a talk-balance meter so the loudest voice doesn't take all of it.

  • A vote the whole room sees

One tap each on a phone, live bars on the screen. A tick shows who has voted, never what they chose.

  • It ends in a decision

Capture the decision and its owner with one click while it's said. It lands in the summary, word for word.

  • Wraps up on time

Decisions and actions are read back, the summary is already written, and a finish on time earns the confetti.

How to run it

  1. 1Share a pre-read before the call: closed to date, deals in play, pipeline coverage and a historical comparison.
  2. 2Review pipeline health through mix, volume and overall health before discussing individual deals.
  3. 3Spend most of the call on key deals and their next steps, with time for productivity coaching.
  4. 4Commit the number; over- and under-forecasting both lead to misallocated resources.
  5. 5Write down action items to pick up in each rep's weekly 1:1.

How long is a forecast call?
Clari doesn't state a length. This template uses 45 minutes because the core numbers are shared beforehand as a pre-read.
