Press Start, or the space bar. The 4 minutes count down in big digits and the time left shows in your browser tab, so you can switch to other work and still see it.

How long is a Tabata round?

Four minutes: eight rounds of 20 seconds of hard work and 10 seconds of rest. Start this timer with your first interval and keep count of the eight yourself.

Does the 4 minute timer make a sound?

Yes, a soft two-note chime at zero, made in your browser without any audio files. Turn it off with the bell button. It still chimes on time in a background tab, because the sound is scheduled when you press Start.

Can I show it full screen?

Yes. Press F or the full screen button and the digits fill the screen, big enough for a whole room. Escape takes you back.

Do I need to sign up or install anything?
